We also run facilities in Hollywood providing QA for major studios in the Film and TV business.


Testronic is a world-leading provider of quality assurance services.

With operations in the UK, USA, Poland and Thailand, Testronic proudly serves a roster of world-leading media clients.

Each year, Testronic tests over 150 games for functionality and in up to 36 languages. With over 850 members of staff, Testronic is a trusted partner for some of the world’s largest games publishers, TV companies, movie studios and streaming services.

Kuju has been creating top-rated games for almost 20 years.

Since being founded in 1998, Kuju has developed over 125 games, for all console, PC and handheld platforms.

Kuju enjoys ongoing relationships with major games publishers and operates out of UK studios in Brighton and Croydon (London).

Well-known games franchises developed by Kuju include Guitar Hero, The Voice, Zumba, Risk, Top Gun, Lord of the Rings and Art Academy.

Curve Digital

Curve Digital is an ambitious, fast-growing publisher.

Founded in 2005, Curve Digital (Curve) is an award-winning digital games publisher. To date, Curve has published dozens of titles, including critically acclaimed hits Flame in the Flood, Smoke and Sacrifice, Bomber Crew and the chart-topping Human: Fall Flat.

Curve operates out of Islington (London) with a sales and marketing office in San Francisco (USA).

Curve won ‘Publishing Hero’ at the Develop Awards 2017 and ‘Independent Publisher of the Year’ at the MCV Awards 2018.

  • Dominic Wheatley, CEO

    Dominic Wheatley was founder and CEO of Eidos (originally Domark) and launched Tomb Raider at E3 in Los Angeles in 1996. He has served on the boards of Telecom Plus Plc and Statpro Plc and others.

    Dominic took over as CEO of the Catalis Group in 2012 and added Curve Digital Publishing to the group in 2016.

  • Robert Haxton, CFO

    Rob Haxton joined the Catalis Group in October 2015, and took up the role of CFO in September 2016.

    Rob has been a Qualified Accountant since 1995, and has held a variety of senior finance roles in a range of diverse media companies from publically listed to private equity backed companies, including Universal Records, Sony Pictures Entertainment, BSkyB and Global Eagle Entertainment Ltd.

  • Andrew Lawton, Corporate Finance and Strategy Director

    Lawton joined the Catalis Group on August 20th 2018

    A true games industry veteran, Lawton spent 19 years at Sony PlayStation, latterly as Chief Finance Officer and more recently served as Group Finance Director at AIM-listed Keywords Studios.

  • Nigel Hammond

    Nigel Hammond's private equity experience covers more than two decades and has involved investing in companies across Europe. From 1990 to 1995 he worked for 3i, from 1995 to 2006 for Montagu Private Equity and co-founded Vespa Capital with Denis Leroy in 2007.

    Nigel has been a Board Member since June 2014.

  • Tom Chaloner

    Tom Chaloner has worked in Venture Capital and Private Equity since 1998. Tom served as Head of Portfolio at HSBC Ventures until 2002, Partner at Montagu Private Equity until 2009, then joined Vespa Capital LLP in 2013. Tom has extensive experience as a NED in various sectors and countries.

    Tom has been a Board Member since June 2014.

  • Nick Winks

    Nick Winks is highly experienced in leading in a number of business sectors. His career has seen a variety of senior management roles including CEO of a listed group.

    Nick has been a Board Member since March 2013.

  • Peter Biewald, Chairman

    Peter Biewald (German citizen) started his career at Deutsche Bank, and subsequently held a variety of senior financial roles at EON Group AG, Siemens AG and as Group CFO of Advanced Inflight Alliance AG, the quoted German media group.

    Peter has been a Board Member since July 2012 and was appointed as Non-Executive Chairman in July 2014.
